What do you think of when you think of old bananas?

They're still yellow right?

 Well, here is a banana I found while cleaning that, well, wasn't yellow anymore and I swear there wasn't any fruit left in the skin at all! What happens to a banana forgotten? It dries up and disappears!

Bubble Tea: Colorado Style

I went to a Bubble Tea shop in Colorado. In Washington there is a much greater influence from Asia as we are on the Pacific coast, but Colorado is a bit behind the times. This is a photo I took from the inside of their shop. I figured they would have all the flavors. So I ordered a honey milk tea with tapioca. The cashier replied, "We have honey-dew milk tea..." Not the same! So I got a regular flavor milk tea.

At least the place was advanced enough that they now that the machine applied lids:

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory: Chocolate Covered Oreos

My favorite treat from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is chocolate covered oreos. Yum! Okay, so oreos are addicative just by themselves. Then cover those little things in chocolate: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate and mint chocolate, and bang, wow! Amazing! :)

Glen Eyrie: High Tea

While visiting in Colorado this holiday, I went to Glen Eyrie for High Tea!

 

 The tea is always enjoyable. It it served in the music room of the castle. Glen Eyrie began as the estate of William Jackson Palmer, founder of several railroads and the city of Colorado Springs.It is currently owned by The Navigators and used as a conference center. It holds tours of the castle and tea as well as a Christmas Madrigal.
